New Website Now Live

We took the most fabulous safari over the moor, spotting Red Deer and finding some incredible hidden spots thanks to our driver and local character Richard!

First Function



Although not officialy open until March we took a booking for a 70th Birthday party for a family from Exeter. Great anticipation from both Andrew, Max and Tom (who lives in the village and assists as and when neded). The day was a great success and it appeared all were pleased with the planning, food and service. The whole house came alive and it gave us the momentun to make the final step to opening...

The Vegetable Garden Begins its life


Mike our part time gardener has started his task of creating a vegetable garden. With a ton of manure he began digging and is well on the way. Apparently potatoes need to be the first crop so if you have a great potato recipe....

Exmoor for Adventure

Mike from the village has been comissioned to get a vegetable garden established from the very challenging undergrowth! So far Ivy off the walls, bonfires had and digging begins. However, we understand that we can only expect potatoes for our first year crop, but then he hopes to make us self sufficient in vegetables and flowers for the house.....better look for some delicious potato recipes
